Review of Border (2018)
Seen in 2018.
Based on a book from the same year by John Ajvide Lindqvist. The concept of this one is more creative than Let the Right One In (2008), in that its supernatural bestiary is less popular and more heavily modified from the original mythology. Border does even better with sexuality, and the ugliness is awesome, but it doen’t have quite the same emotional kick.
