Review of Brahmaputra, der große Fluss vom Himalaya (2017)

Moving picture, 150 minutes

Seen in 2019.

Seen with Swedish-language narration on SVT. IMDb lists the series as three separate episodes of the metaseries Universum (1987).

The Brahmaputra River, from its source as the Yarlung Zangbo in the Himalayas to the Indian Ocean, with diverse human and non-human communities along the way. The Ganges and Meghna tributaries are mentioned comparatively briefly.

A smooth blend of anthropology and nature documentary.
