Review of Brokeback Mountain (2005)

Moving picture, 134 minutes

A lesser tragedy here is that Hollywood apparently needs the ambiguous sexuality of these characters to create a love story with pacing, nuances and consequences (by which I don’t mean the possible murder). The problems posed by sexuality are clearly relevant to the story, but writers and directors with any guts could learn from this how to make a great hetero love story.
