Review of Happy Feet (2006)

Moving picture, 108 minutes

Sweet mother of Cthulhu, this was truly terrible. Pop songs permeating the Antarctic wilderness, penguins with boobs and prominent cheekbones to indicate femininity, Hispanic Adélies exemplifying a conceptual association of the non-WASP with a laughable midget, moronic action set pieces, and the dumb idea of effective communication between funny animals and humans through dance, which apparently resolves the problem of unsustainable fishing in one stroke. So let’s use the possibility of all animals really being funny animals as our reason for cutting back. A meltdown, made without thought.
