Seen in 2014.
Treats vikings the way pop culture usually treats ninjas and pirates, i.e. without connection to reality. Hamstrung by a complex Chekhovian artillery, sexism and utterly derivative father-son dynamics. The sympathy for monsters (hundreds of us dead, versus thousands of them) is the good part.
