Review of “Industrial Symphony No. 1: The Dream of the Brokenhearted” (1990)

Moving picture, 50 minutes

David Lynch (director).

A floating woman in a fluffy white dress (Julee Cruise) sings some Badalamenti/Lynch classics. There is also weirdness.

Abstract, surreal musical. The Man from Another Place from Twin Peaks (1990), and Nicholas Cage, are both in it. Beautiful but unengaging.
