Review of Iria: Zeiram the Animation (1993)

An interstellar empire appoints Hunters to deal with various dangers. Such a Hunter, Gren, and his young “sister”/apprentice Iria, encounter an almost immortal creature. Gren attempts a suicidal attack against it, whereafter Iria is left to fend for herself. She makes some friends during the long mutual hunt through exotic environments, and makes heavy use of gadgets.
