Review of Master Keaton (1998)
Imagine Indiana Jones or Tintin reborn as half Japanese and working as an insurance claims investigator in the 1990s.
Mostly a family TV adventure about canon Gary Stu, but with occasional blood. As far as I know the OVA is just more of the same highly episodic structure. Some of the writing is boringly transparent, some rather nice. Kawajiri Yoshiaki has screenwriting and storyboarding credits, but only on episode 34.
