Review of Patema Inverted (2013)
Seen in 2014.
As a children’s feature-film take on ideas I associate with indie games like And Yet It Moves (2009) and VVVVVV (2010), it’s decent. Far too melodramatic though, and the limited animation hurts it. I like the hugs, but they ought to take some stamina.
