Review of Shallow Grave (1994)

The trendy colour design and the spaciousness of the flat are just the opening moves in a whole system of stylization. I assume that stylization was selected to match the basic plot, but it’s all too contrived, and deliberately so. There’s just a bit of grit left in the violence.
