Lynas’s book is an excellent piece of science journalism. At Tällberg Forum in 2008 he said he was happy the film reached millions on its first airing, but also that it might convey a sense of fiction, which in the absence of “boring” scientific rigour leads to shallow understanding and easily shaken belief.
