Review of The Diary of Tortov Roddle (2003)
I did not see the DVD extras.
Someone who looks a bit like a Victorian gentleman travels through an apparent periphery on a heightened pig, often encountering weird creatures.
Surreal travel anecdotes in the form of a silent short. No real spoken dialogue, but lots of music. 6 episodes of about 3 minutes each, originally released in Flash format on the web. Except for final “love scene”, it’s all quaint, pure and simple surrealism.
