Review of The Wind (1928)
Seen in 2016.
Sjöström brings his old tricks to Hollywood. The ending is disappointing, and despite having a female protagonist it does not pass the Bechdel test, but there are some fine incidental details, including the magnificent horse representing the fury of the northern wind via native American legend.
