Review of Tokyo Godfathers (2003)

Moving picture, 92 minutes

Three bums (wino, transvestite and runaway angry fat girl) find an abandoned baby on Christmas eve in Tokyo. In their attempts to care for it, they encounter their pasts and go through some really improbable events, including a mob assassination and winning the lottery.

Homeless comedy. Pretty good Kon Satoshi. The least likeable parts are the massive coincidences piling up, and the happy ending, including that lottery ticket, as if that would be any kind of viable solution to the problems of homelessness.
