Review of Windy Tales (2004)

Moving picture, 5.0 hours

Some seniors at a junior high school learn that certain people can manipulate winds. Those people also see a number of cats with the same ability, floating in the air. However, digital photography is more interesting, and staring at the clouds to take pictures of the wind on slow days is a lot like wondering about the future.

Very unconventional magical girl show. Magic aside, there is lots of realism, including text-message communication and parts of the unorthodox visual design, which combines uncommonly realistic proportions with asymmetries, unrealistically small extremities and some very stylized environments.
