Chiaroscuro even on the unlit rooftop of a moonless night! Now that is hardcore. The secondary title (“The Wind Bloweth Where It Listeth” or in French, “Le vent souffle où il veut”) is from John 3:8; the book is recommended reading before seeing this film.
