Review of “A New Prehistory” (2015)

Moving picture, 50 minutes

Seen in 2018.

Feathered and flying animals around 160-125 million years ago as revealed through digs at Solnhofen, Liaoning and Kulinda.

The emphasis is on the 3D CG visualizations, and they’re not bad for a 2015 TV documentary, but they are overly dramatized, with big baddies chasing the starring species into the mud to Hollywood music.
