Pulp Fiction (1994) with more dirt and more formal structure. The film opens with a prolepsis and returns to that scene twice, the first time one third of the way into the film, the second two thirds of the way. The consequences of that scene play out along three separate paths of development without simply telling three separate stories in each third.
