“Animation Runner Kuromi” (2001)
A fresh graduate is suddenly stuck in charge of a catastrophic animation project. Her duties include racing around town to collect key animation frames from quirky, stressed-out underlings.
A comedy. The Japanese cover prominently includes the phrase “Nihon no anime, watashi ga tsukuru!” (“I’m the one who’ll make Japanese animation!”).

The studio has to complete three separate projects at once.
More of the same, a bit closer to serious melodrama. Still crude. Digicharat-style deformation isn’t very entertaining
