Review of Blark and Son (2018)

Moving picture, 120 minutes

Seen in 2019.

This review refers to the first season only.

Man’s man Blark named his beloved son “Son”.

Puppet sitcom. The brilliant character design makes it stand out, and the acting’s a good match. The writing isn’t quite as strong but it’s got some good details. Poor Zeke seems to live in wartime Chechnya, or more likely Crimea between the 2014 Russian annexation and the 2022 invasion of Ukraine.
