Skillfully directed, but the choice to make a supervillain out of Cady (“more than human” and a hypocrite) damages credibility to the point that it is ultimately counterproductive to the emotional effect. I assume this was intentional: an homage to Alfred Hitchcock and his ilk, perhaps.
