Review of China: The Uyghur Drama (2022)

Moving picture, 105 minutes

Seen in 2022.

Seen in its two-part Swedish adaptation on Dokument utifrån.

The modern history of the Uyghurs with strong emphasis on mass terror against the population in Xinjiang, perpetrated by the PRC since 2014: The most extensive concentration camps since the Nazis, together with a deliberate attempt, through forced migration and sterilization rather than poison gas, to commit a slow genocide.

Heavy on academic experts, which is good. There is also plenty of footage from the ground, and eyewitness accounts. A comprehensive document for such a short runtime.
