The episodes vary in quality. I especially enjoyed “Why I Won’t Teach My Son ‘Black Codes’” (growing up near “vacant lots lined with churches”), “I Lost My Daughter to Heroin, Can I Start Over With Her Child?” and “When Having a Child Doesn’t Make You Happy”.
