Review of Full Frontal (2016)

A slightly more hip, more partisan and more gender-oriented weekly The Daily Show (1996). Samantha Bee was better as a host than she was as a correspondent in the classic era of Stewart’s TDS. Even as a host she continued to fall back to her bimbo character a little too often, but Full Frontal was the most satisfying of the relatively faithful ensemble-cast TDS spin-offs.
