In the 1960s, a young woman diagnosed with borderline personality disorder makes friends in treatment.

The latter half of Brangelina’s diptych updating One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (1975) for the 1990s, following Twelve Monkeys (1995). This is a conventional drama with relatively simple characters, reminiscent of Hollywood’s many adaptations of Alcott’s Little Women (1868). Vanessa Redgrave is excellent as Dr. Wick.
