Review of Greece: The Wild Side (2018)

Moving picture, 100 minutes

Seen in 2019.

Seen in its Swedish-language adaptation on SVT.

Wildlife in the rocky north and lesser-known southern islands of Greece.

Good music, willing to draw attention. It might just be the Swedish editors’ usual sanitization of original scripts, but the narration is also surprisingly free of clichés, except for one: The island of Milos is described as created by the classical element of fire (vulcanism), while its obviously sedimentary rock is shown on screen.
