Review of Il capitano (1991)
Amusing to compare to those cheap “The [name recently appearing in human-interest news] Story” TV movies. Il capitano is based on a real crime. Names have been changed. The real one, in Åmsele, happens to be astonishingly stupid: Three people were murdered by a petty criminal who was only trying to steal one bicycle (he had a car), and the movie about it is good!
