Review refers to the Swedish dub.
From an ecocritical perspective, relative to Disney’s similar The Lion King (1994), this has the advantage of showing both tourists and (inept) Africans in Africa. In all other respects, of course, it’s completely banal, making a BBW joke out of hippo courtship and positing a reservation-wide truce. The penguins carry the picture.
