Review of Monster (2003)
Seen in 2013.
Darker than most dark dramas. The makeup (makedown?) helps give it emotional punch. The real Aileen Wuornos recanted some of the testimony on which this film is based. She was a more regular head case, but the feminist arc plastered over her story here is very appealing.
