Review of “MS. Found in a Bottle” (1833)
Edgar Allan Poe (writer).
Read in 2022.

Beautifully written, with many clearly visualized scenes, this Todorovian-marvelous piece of fabulism is so grandiose and incoherent that some scholars apparently consider it a parody of the genre.
