Review of Outside the Law (2010)
Like Bouchareb’s Days of Glory (2006), this imitates too much of Hollywood’s dramatic myopia and spectacle. The sports-car rescue from a firefight is especially stupid. A few other scenes are very nice, particularly Saïd getting his new beginning, and the complicated Faivre acknowledging his side will lose.
