Review of Persuasion (2022)
Seen in 2022.
I have not read the book, but from what I understand, the book is about a character who does not assert herself and actively avoids conflict, which is the cause of all her problems. That is not true in this adaptation, where the main character is a vivacious, snarky troublestarter in the same plot. The playlist joke is funny though.
