The mid-life crisis of an insurance man.
An insipid drama of marital infidelity cross-pollinated with film noir in such a way that everybody is resigned to their lot and the ruthless private investigator is the villain. I love the son’s huge shirt collar at the breakfast table and his parents’ hatred of comic books throughout.
