Review of “Possible to Rue” (1963)

Text

Piers Anthony (writer).

Read in 2026.

A six-year-old asks for a pegasus. His father, consulting a dictionary, looks for the closest similar animal on the market. He doesn’t remember horses going extinct.

The characterization of the precocious-yet-illiterate child is absurd, but not funny. I don’t see what kind of point Anthony was trying to come to, if any.
