Review of “Potatishandlaren” (1996)

Moving picture, 48 minutes

Seen in 2019.

A widowed landowner encourages his only child to find a husband before menopause.

Almost good. Alas, there is a distasteful meanness to the portrait of the daughter, instead of showing her enjoying her freedom with friends. The sex scene is so awkward that I can hardly imagine why it was staged that way.
