I count this among Wolfe’s games with a pulp or “Golden Age” sensibility, like “The God and His Man” (1980) and “The Last Thrilling Wonder Story” (1982). This one is dumber, though. It’s skillfully decorated with conceits, but it’s basically tongue-in-cheek Genesis fanfic.
