Review of Run Uje Run (2020)
Seen in 2023.
I had no prior knowledge of the plot, which turned out to be a good thing. The opening is quirky and fun. The film could have gone anywhere from there. When it went into a musical about Parkinson’s disease, I happily followed. Like the songs of the leading man’s band, Doktor Kosmos, the film treats a serious subject with sincerity but not solemnity.
