The Three Caballeros (1944Moving picture, 71 minutes)

Seen in 2017.

A loosely structured mixed-media sketch comedy and musical. There are some enjoyable scenes, particularly the intro to Baía, which starts out as beautiful multi-plane landscapes and then segues into an animated form of pictures in coloured thread on black cloth. Shortly thereafter, the live-action segments begin, Donald Duck is sexually aroused and the idea of telling any kind of story, or showing pretty pictures, goes out the window.
