A psychological take on the subject, with evidence, specific brands and case studies including Wesley Autrey, and showmanship in its own presentation. An excellent primer, but it doesn’t go very deep. The evolutionary psychology, provided by Robin Dunbar and others, is framed by the phrase “Darwinists believe”.
