Review of Suddenly (1954)
Seen in 2019.
People nowadays seem to see this thriller for Sinatra and the JFK connection, neither of which are interesting. It’s an implausible set piece in many ways, full of tired character types and gender roles. The placement of the sniper rifle is clearly incorrect for a professional assassin: High visibility and poor ergonomy.
