Review of The Charge of the Light Brigade (1936)

Moving picture, 115 minutes

Seen in 2018.

A perverse US salute to a mistake in British great-game imperialism at the “frontier”, weighed down by an insincere triangle drama. Shot in Mexico to permit the killing of more animals on set, with nothing to show for it artistically. The combat scenes are as boring as the rest.
