The definite peak is Offerman and Lynch’s description of the Speedee system as a rational solution not only for their own business reasons but as a sort of end in itself: Elegance and efficiency with high integrity. Even in this initial version, before exploitation, no real concern is expressed for the long-term welfare of the worker: RSI, stress, boredom etc.
