Western US officials attempt to execute a criminal with an unprecedented 12 kV.
Doyle doesn’t get the terminology right, confusing charge and potential difference etc. He also fails to infer the consequences of his premiss: nobody talks about using the method “discovered” here medicinally. A science fiction version would be called “The Los Amigos Triumph”.
