Reviews of The Man on the Roof (1976) and related work
The Man on the Roof (1976) IMDb
Uncompromising social criticism built deftly into action.
This branch of the franchise eventually got bloated for reasons unrelated to the quality of the work.
Worth it exclusively for the generation gap. Kids have turned abandoned sections of the Stockholm subway system into a never-ending LARP LAN party for “Final Doom” (not the actual 1996 game of that title) and real frags of innocent commuters. Iconically idiotic writing.
