Review of The Platform (2019)

Moving picture, 94 minutes

Seen in 2024.

A man wakes up with a copy of Don Quixote (1605) in a vertical social experiment.

An allegory of social justice. The premises of the allegory, though presented as a model of human society, are actually chosen for horror, which breaks the model. If you can ignore that, the execution is good, up to the transcendentalist ending inspired by a half-digested popular Christianity.
