Another stilted afterlife dialogue like “The Conversation of Eiros and Charmion” (1839). This one is on physical determinism and its relationship to naïve deism in the era before quantum physics. It’s probably unrelated to the poem “To Marie Louise” (1829), wherein Poe also refers to “the power of words”.
