Review of “The Secret of Homer” (1963)

Text

Alexander Poleshchuk (writer).

Read in 2020.

Read in The Molecular Café (1968).

A scholar of literature is called in to broaden the education of some brilliant young students. He gets them interested in the ancient Greek world, and one of them has just built a time machine.

Though the ending is nonsensical, the setup is lovely: A light, relaxing use of science fiction for the humanities.
