Review of The Sirens of Titan (1959)
Kurt Vonnegut (writer).
Read in 2016.
Missing both the intelligent ideological commentary of Player Piano (1952) and the pathos of Slaughterhouse-Five (1969). The plot is clearly subordinate to the characters, the themes and the craftsmanship of the presentation, but as usual, this is not a good thing.
