Review of The Thin Blue Line (1988)

Moving picture, 101 minutes

A portal film in the “true crime” genre that would blossom 30 years later. Thankfully, Errol Morris is not a ghoul but a skeptic and rationalist. It was, apparently, a genuine passion for the truth rather than a Dostoyevskyan obsession with crime that led him to reinvestigate the case.
