Review of Three Suns (2004)

Moving picture, 102 minutes

The hammy so-called elite of Swedish actors in a feminist road movie, set when the plague hit in the 14th century, with fantasy-level sun dogs. The barber’s very medieval attempt to cure the plague is the only good part, and even that is a stark contradiction of the historical consensus on how barbers and actual surgeons normally behaved at the time, as outlined in The Black Death (2000), a popular book at the time of this production.
